Hi you guys! I'm Dawn, the photographer behind Degrees North Images. I photograph elopements, micro weddings, and sessions for playful, adventurous couples so they have an epic souvenir from one of the best days of their lives!

I believe there are a million ways to have and adventure. Adventure is about having an unforgettable experience that reflects who you are and deepens your connection. Your adventure might look like a beachside ceremony with a leisurely picnic and paddleboarding, a downtown event followed by a ghost tour, or a multiday vacation with a pool party and a sunset yacht charter. There is something for everyone!

I love helping my couples create a perfect day that feels genuine and joyful. As a local Galveston expert, I can guide you to all kinds of unique offerings on the island. Did you know you can get married on a tall ship, that you can rent a golf cart that looks like a Model T, or that you can take a helicopter tour of Galveston's coastline? We can get into all kinds of shenanigans together! The only limit is your imagination.

I also love working with couples who want to include their fandoms, especially anything Disney, or any awesome theme you can think of. We have some amazing vendors that can bring the most out of this world ideas to life.

I'm an avid open water swimmer always ready to incorporate water activities into any event. I'm also a Navy veteran and am always happy to help military couples coordinate a wedding in pinch, during leave or between duty station transfers.
