Married On Island is a modern wedding directory and creative community rooted in Galveston, Texas. Inspired by the island’s charm, culture, and history, MOI connects couples with local wedding professionals while offering resources, inspiration, and collaborative opportunities.
The name is a nod to the island’s identity - just as locals proudly say they are BOI (Born On Island) or IBC (Islander By Choice), Married On Island reflects the experience of couples choosing Galveston as the place to say “I do”.
From its online vendor directory and podcast to styled shoots, editorial features, and now its first-ever Galveston Bridal Expo (January 3-4, 2026), Married On Island is dedicated to showcasing the best of Gulf Coast Weddings while strengthening the bonds within the vendor community.
Mission: To celebrate Galveston Island as a premier wedding destination while supporting the creativity and growth of local wedding professionals.

Founder Bio
Angela Cameron is a Galveston-based wedding professional, creative entrepreneur, and recent newlywed whose vision for Married On Island grew from her deep connection to the island and its vibrant wedding community.
As a wedding pro, Angela has spent over a decade working alongside couples, vendors, and venues across the Gulf Coast. Her hands-on experience in the industry inspired her to create a platform that not only celebrates Galveston as a destination but also uplifts the talented professionals who make weddings here unforgettable.
Angela’s mission with Married On Island is simple: to connect engaged couples with trusted local vendors while building a supportive, collaborative community for wedding professionals. With her roots firmly planted on the island and her pulse on modern wedding trends, she brings authenticity, creativity, and hospitality to everything she does.
