Abby + Daniel

A great vendor team does more than bring a vision to life—it knows how to adapt when the weather changes the plan. Originally intended for Pier 21, this Galveston proposal was moved indoors at Fisherman’s Wharf when rain rolled across the island.

The change of location didn’t make the moment any less meaningful. With an experienced team working behind the scenes, the couple enjoyed a romantic waterfront proposal protected from the weather. Once the sun finally peeked through the clouds, they stepped outside for engagement portraits overlooking Galveston Harbor and the historic 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA.

This real Galveston engagement session is the perfect reminder that unpredictable weather doesn’t have to ruin a carefully planned proposal. With trusted local vendors, a flexible backup plan and some island magic, even a rainy day can become part of an unforgettable love story.
