Giveaway Period

The giveaway opens upon publication and closes Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM (CDT).

Two (2) winning couples will be announced on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, via Married On Island's social media channels and contacted using the information provided on their entry form.

Eligibility

• Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.

• Open to couples willing to travel to Galveston, Texas.

• Winners must be available on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to redeem their prize.

• Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter

To receive one (1) entry:

• Complete the official giveaway entry form on the Married On Island website.

• Tell us why you'd love to have your engagement, bridal, or wedding portraits captured at The Grand 1894 Opera House.

• Follow the Instagram accounts of all participating giveaway partners:

Prize

Two (2) winning couples will each receive:

• One (1) portrait session with Degrees North Images at The Grand 1894 Opera House.

• Professional Hair and Makeup By Christly Taylor.

• A beautiful florals provided by Knapp Flower Shop.

• Exclusive access to photograph inside The Grand 1894 Opera House.

The portrait session may be used for engagement portraits, bridal portraits, or wedding portraits, subject to the scheduling requirements outlined below.

Session Details

Each winning couple will receive one (1) portrait session lasting up to two (2) hours, including exclusive access to photograph inside The Grand 1894 Opera House.

Portrait sessions will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with one of the following scheduled time slots:

• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Professional Hair and Makeup by By Christly Taylor will be scheduled immediately before the assigned portrait session during one of the following appointment windows:

• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Session times and corresponding hair and makeup appointments will be assigned by the participating vendors and are not transferable.

Photography locations within The Grand 1894 Opera House and the creative direction of each session are at the discretion of Degrees North Images and venue staff.

Winners are expected to arrive on time and fully prepared for their scheduled appointments. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or forfeiture of the prize.

Wardrobe

Winners are responsible for providing their own attire for the portrait session.

The giveaway does not include wedding attire, engagement outfits, accessories, jewelry, shoes, or styling beyond the included hair and makeup services.

Couples should arrive with all wardrobe and personal items needed for their chosen portrait session.

Model Release

As a condition of accepting the prize, selected winners must sign the standard model release provided by Degrees North Images prior to their portrait session.

By signing the release, winners grant permission for photographs from the session to be used by Degrees North Images, Married On Island, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Hair & Makeup By Christly Taylor, Knapp Flower Shop and their affiliated marketing partners for portfolio, website, social media, editorial, advertising, and other promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Failure to complete the required model release may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.

Winner Selection

Two (2) winners will be selected by the Married On Island team from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period.

Entries that do not comply with these Official Terms & Conditions may be disqualified.

Selected winners must respond within 48 hours of notification. If a winner cannot be reached, declines the prize, or fails to respond within the required timeframe, Married On Island reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

General Conditions

• Prizes have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash.

• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged.

• Transportation, lodging, parking, wardrobe, and any additional expenses are the sole responsibility of the winners.

• Married On Island reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the administration, security, or fairness of the promotion.

• By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Terms & Conditions and the decisions of Married On Island, which are final in all matters relating to the giveaway.
